Sandy Demarest is a Certified Career Management Coach, Global Career Development Facilitator, Job and Career Transition Coach and the founder of Demarest Career Directions. Throughout her 25-year career in non-profit administration, educational leadership and career development, Sandy has coached hundreds of young adults in self-assessment and career planning as well as work-based learning experiences that have led to full-time employment. Her goal is to provide comprehensive career coaching programs to students and adults.

For 15 years Sandy has coached students and young adults in high school and college settings, in self assessment and career planning as well as the development of work-based learning experiences. With a love for helping people find meaningful work, Sandy stepped out on her own to provide comprehensive career coaching to those starting their career. Demarest Career Directions opened their doors in November 2009 to provide career coaching services to college-bound, college students and young professionals. With a passion for helping career starters begin their journey successfully, Demarest Career Directions empowers students and young adults to take charge of their upcoming careers by discovering their career passions, values and strengths and to achieve goals of early career success.

Sandy assists clients with career direction and up-to -date job search strategies that are intentional and leaves nothing to chance. Starting to plan for your future is exciting and opens up opportunities for internships, developing professional networks, enhancing organizational skills, understanding the power of your personal brand, and taking charge of your career.

Sandy received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Sociology from Ohio Wesleyan University. She is a graduate of Career Coach Academy, a Certified Job and Career Transition Coach and has Masters Level Certification as Global Career Development Facilitator from Plymouth State University. Sandy is also a member of the National Career Development Association, The Career Counselors Consortium, Northeast, The Greater Chamber of Commerce and The Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce.

I am happily married to Russ and have three daughters, Melissa, Brooke and Leah. I find great joy in watching them mature and develop into caring young women. I live in Amherst, NH and enjoy long walks, photography, and cooking for family and friends.
